Association of Otorhinolaryngologists and Head and Neck Surgeons of Kosova
The Association of Otorhinolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery of Kosova was founded in 1974, initially as part of the former Yugoslav ORL Association.
Following a reorganization in 2001, the Association entered a new phase of development and regional engagement. Since 2003, it has maintained active participation in events organized by the Balkan Association of Otorhinolaryngology, becoming a regular member in 2008.
Today, the Association proudly counts around 100 members, encompassing a wide range of professionals dedicated to advancing the field. It has organized numerous national and regional scientific events, making significant contributions to medical education and collaboration.
Notably, the Association has partnered with the Albanian ORL Association “Besim Zyma” to host joint events that promote cross-border cooperation and professional exchange.
At its most recent Board Meeting, the Association made the important decision to host the 14th Balkan Congress of ORL-HNS, reflecting its continued leadership and commitment to the development of otorhinolaryngology and head and neck surgery in the region.
