THE 14TH BALKAN CONGRESS OF ORL AND HEAD & NECK SURGERY CONCLUDED SUCCESSFULLY
After three days filled with knowledge exchange, professional discussions, and international cooperation, the 14th Balkan Congress of Otorhinolaryngology and Head & Neck Surgery, organized for the first time in Kosova, from June 11 to 13, concluded with complete success.
This congress brought together over 400 participants, about 50 international guest lecturers, as well as dozens of other presenters from the country, the region, and the world in Pristina, transforming Kosovo into the Balkan center of science and professional cooperation in the field of ORL and Head & Neck Surgery.
The solemn opening ceremony, led by the President of the Congress, Dr. Dugagjin Spanca, was honored with the participation and speeches of the leaders of the main institutions of the health sector, proving the importance that this event had for the professional community and the institutions of the country.
The three-day scientific program offered high-level lectures, scientific sessions, interactive discussions, and presentations of the latest achievements in otolaryngology and head and neck surgery.
In addition to the scientific part, the Assembly Meeting of the Balkan Society of ENT and ENT and the Meeting of the Board of Directors of the Balkan Society were also held within the framework of the congress, while the entire Congress was accompanied by a rich social program, which culminated with the Gala Evening, further strengthening the friendship and cooperation between colleagues from many countries of the Balkans and Europe.
In addition to being considered a great success overall, the Congress was also a testament to Kosovo’s professional and organizational capacities to host scientific events of the highest international standards, while contributing at the same time to the advancement of science, continuing education and regional cooperation.
